Updates from North Vancouver: Team NB Legion Nationals

They Did it!  Gerry (Hippy) Johnston, Tommy Vaughan, Steve Foster, Fred McKinnon are the 2012 Canadian 4 Person team Champions.  Just confirmed, they beat Ontario in the final.  Congrats from all of us here in New Brunswick

 

Fred McKinnon of Saint John has finished 2nd Place at the 2012 Canadian Legion National Championships.

Scott Tracy & Kevin Bailey have finished 7th in the Doubles Competition.

Scott Tracy also paired with former New Brunswick representative Keith Way to win the Friday Night Blind Draw.  

Congrats guys!  We will post the results of the Team events as they come in.

Three time World Champion and Legend of the game John Lowe, will be making tour stops in New Brunswick during his Canadian Tour in November.  Confirmed locations will appear here:  Saint John (Rothesay Avenue Billiards), Moncton (Moncton Dart Club), Oromocto (Fairleys Sports Bar), Cocagne (Club Du Village).  Many more locations are showing interest.  If you would like more info on hosting John in your location Email jeffsmith180@rogers.com

Ed Shand Memorial NDFC Ranked  - Results

  

Jeff smith (NB) & Debbie Lewis-Christmas (NS) Took top honors by winning the NDFC Ranked Singles events.  Lewis-Christmas also paired with Darlene MacLeod (NS) to also win the Ladies Doubles, and Smith also took the Mens Doubles and Mixed Triples with Partners Gerry Johnston (NB) and Tammy Perry (NS) respectively.  Thanks to Rothesay Avenue Billiards, and Mooshead Breweries for sponsoring the event.
